Amanda Wilson currently serves as the director and global head of LC/MS method development and validation, bioanalytical chemistry. In this role, she provides leadership and oversight for all bioanalytical method development and validation activities across LC/MS bioanalytical sites in the U.K. and North America. Amanda is responsible for ensuring the scientific quality and timely d8elivery of these studies, as well as managing the scientific evaluation of new LC/MS bioanalytical opportunities to meet evolving market needs.
With over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Amanda has cultivated expertise in bioanalysis, DMPK, and biomarkers through various senior leadership positions while working at AstraZeneca. Notably, she served as director and GLP test facility manager of regulatory bioanalysis, overseeing the provision of clinical and preclinical bioanalysis and toxicokinetic data. And as senior director of discovery bioanalysis, Amanda played a pivotal role in managing the delivery of discovery bioanalysis strategies for a diverse portfolio including small molecules, antibody therapeutics, antibody drug conjugates, cell and gene therapy, and nucleotide therapeutics. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in chemical and pharmaceutical sciences. Amanda has authored or co-authored over 30 publications and presented at more than 20 external meetings.
