SNP Genotyping Assay Expertise

SNPs are single-base changes in DNA that give rise to genetic variation. Exploring these variations can help provide insights about:

  • Ancestral typing
  • Health and disease risk factors
  • Carrier conditions
  • Curiosity testing (e.g., hair and eye color, muscle composition, effects of DNA on diet)

We perform SNP genotyping using Illumina HTS Genotyping Arrays. We can also quickly validate a variety of Illumina assays to meet your needs. Samples are processed using state-of-the-art automation and tracked using a custom laboratory information management system (LIMS).

Customization of Your Assay Requirements

We can customize multiple aspects of the assay protocols to meet your specific needs, including:

  • Multiple sample types: Saliva, buccal swabs, flocked swabs, blood, etc.
  • Quantification method options: Spectrophotometric or fluorometric
