Dr. Ketha graduated from the University of Delhi, India in 2000. She received her master in science with an emphasis in organic chemistry in 2005 from University of Delhi and completed her PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry from University of Florida in Gainesville in 2010. As a part of post-doctoral training, Dr Ketha completed three years of clinical laboratory research and two years of clinical chemistry fellowship from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2015.
Prior to joining Labcorp in July 2018, Dr Ketha worked as the Director of Toxicology and Drug Analysis and Associate Director of Clinical Chemistry at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, MI (2015-2018). She served as the Secretary of the AACC Michigan Section during that time. Dr Ketha is a member of AACC, and serves as the elected Member at Large for the AACC Toxicology Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Division (2019). She also serves as a CAP Laboratory Inspector.
Dr Ketha is the technical director of Toxicology, Clinical Mass Spectrometry and Metals Testing at the Labcorp Center for Esoteric Testing. She is certified in clinical chemistry by the National Registry of Certified Chemists since 2016 and as a specialist in chemistry by the American Society of Clinical Pathology. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry. Dr Ketha’s research interests are in the clinical diagnostic applications of mass spectrometry. She has authored more than 40 articles and abstracts published in such journals as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Clinical Chemistry.
In addition to mass spectrometry and toxicology, Dr Ketha enjoys cooking, running and yoga.
