Electronic account setup
Electronic account setup enables clients to set up accounts by providing Labcorp with a fixed-length ASCII file containing predefined account information from the client’s database. This process requires the client to pull account information from their database and electronically transfer it to Labcorp. Labcorp, in turn, imports the file and creates the accounts based on predefined, mutually agreed-upon defaults. Once setup is complete, Labcorp sends an email notification to the client including status for each request and the Labcorp-assigned account numbers.
